Link Bread & Roses Housing was founded in 1988 to address issues caused by rising rents and home prices. The organization’s goal is to create alternative homeownership opportunities for families traditionally excluded from the housing market. They do so by acquiring vacant lots or distressed properties, building homes and making the homes available to families through a community land trust.
